Dine Around EdinburghDate: 7th January - 29th February 2008Location: Edinburgh Description: Dine around Edinburgh returns on 7th January 2008! Dine around Edinburgh is back bigger and better than ever, with the promotion running for an additional three weeks in 2008, due to a hugely successful 2007 edition. Running from Monday 7th January to Thursday 28th February 2008, 30 of Edinburgh's best restaurants will be offering tremendous value fixed price dining offers of 2 course lunches and dinners for £15. Participating restaurants include Duck's at Le Marché Noir, Skippers, La Garrigue and Atrium. Scottish Snowdrop FestivalDate: 1st - 16th March 2008Location: Throughout Scotland Description: VisitScotland has teamed up with National Trust for Scotland, Scotland's Gardens Scheme and gardens around the country to bring you the second Scottish Snowdrop Festival. Find time to head outdoors and marvel at these beautiful little plants, set against the backdrop of some of Scotland's most captivating castles, gardens and stately homes. The Scottish Caravan and Outdoor Leisure Show 2008Date: 7th February - 10th February 2008Location: Glasgow Description: The fourth annual Scottish Caravan and Outdoor Leisure Show at the SECC, Glasgow, boasting 120 exhibitors, is a one stop shop showcasing the latest caravans, motorhomes, holiday homes, accessories, marine products, camping products, and related clubs and associations. There will be a number of specially built feature areas throughout the show including cookery demonstrations. The Mighty DeerstalkerDate: 1st March 2008Location: Traquair House, Innerleithen, Scottish Borders Description: The Mighty Deerstalker celebrates the excitement and heritage of the Scottish Borders with a phenomenal 10k/5k Adventure Run, alongside a host of entertainments at Traquair House, including falconry, clay pigeon shooting, local live bands, mud wrestling and the famous Traquair Ale on tap. Edinburgh International Science FestivalDate: 25th March - 5th April 2008Location: Edinburgh Description: Twelve days of non-stop shows, workshops, exhibitions, talks, tours, demonstrations and hands-on activities for kids, families and adults, all showing just how much fun science can be. Rootin' Aboot FestivalDate: 28th March - 6th April 2008Location: Aberdeen Description: Each year, Aberdeen's Lemon Tree Cafe hosts this fantastic traditional music festival which features an exciting programme of concerts, sessions, workshops, free events and a throbbin' Festival club!
